Toby Perkins, Labour Member of Parliament for Chesterfield, has called on youngsters in Chesterfield and Staveley to learn more about the out of school activities available to youngsters in Chesterfield following a visit by Mr. Perkins to the Brimington Air Force Cadets’ stall at the Brimington Gala on Saturday 26th June.
The Air Cadets has a long and proud tradition in Brimington and the Derbyshire region, and Mr. Perkins has called for more young people to make the most of their time away from the classroom.
Mr. Perkins said:-
“It was a privilege to meet the young Air Cadets at the Brimington Show on Saturday. It was great to speak to such dedicated young people so passionate about the club which they spend a lot of their free time. I want to do more to encourage youngsters in Chesterfield to get involved in sports or clubs like to AC to broaden their skills and learn something new”.

Please amend this article to say that it is 1082 (Brimington & District) squadron Air Cadets as there is a squadron in Chesterfield. We are separate squadrons.
Thank you for letting me know about this.
