Proud Not Sorry.

Amid Tory claims that Labour should apologise for the massive investment in our schools Chesterfield’s young people have spoken out against the slurs.

Students from local schools, members of Young Labour made a film called “Sorry?” in response to Tory claims that Labour should apologise for the investment in new school buildings, low class sizes and record investment in teaching.

Holly Redford-Jones said; “We are proud of the education that we have had, and of Labour’s decision to invest in it. That why we wanted to make a film to speak up for the importance of good local state schools not apologise for it.”

Excellently presented – but message lost in very intrusive background music making it difficult to hear speakesrs most of the time. It does not add to the presentation – it detracts from it.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS FROM YOU TUBE: Looks like a consensus on both the quality of the video, the message and the music!

Brilliant! (but if you could turn down Oasis a little, particularly at the start, that would help – it’s a bit too distracting). Otherwise, I almost shed a tear. Thank you.

The backing music doesn’t work, sorry. It’s irritating. Otherwise, the video is good.
