Toby Perkins: Thank you very much, Mr Speaker. I come back to the question asked by my hon. Friend from Sheffield South East and also the question asked by the hon. gentleman from Swindon North, that it does feel rather, whilst the Prime Minister has been absolutely resolute about how wrong President Putin is in the actions that he is taken, that the message the he will be hearing from us is that the incursions that have gone so far have had a proportionate response and that there will be nothing else coming unless he goes further and the Prime Minister already speaking about the expectation that he goes further. Shouldn’t we instead be saying that further sanctions will be coming unless we get a withdrawal from the invasions that he has already taken, and shouldn’t that be the message that he is taking from this has that he clearly has widespread support for?

Prime Minister: Of course, Mr Speaker and I want to be clear that the reason we are doing it in this way is because I think that the unity of the West is the priority.
