NHS patients across Chesterfield are being urged to share their views and experiences of local health services in order to highlight outstanding practice and identify issues to inform the Town MP’s parliamentary work.

Toby said, “During every summer recess, I have spent time listening to the views of Chesterfield people to better inform me when I return to Parliament. This summer, I want to hear about my constituents’ experiences with our NHS.

There is widespread support for Britain’s doctors, nurses and health care workers. But there is also concern that the pressures on NHS waiting times and resources are greater than ever.

It is important that I build the widest possible picture of local people’s experiences with our NHS- good and bad.

It is an opportunity to highlight service improvements and innovations, alongside difficulties people have experienced.

The answers to this survey will help inform my meetings with health bosses, my questions in parliament and my submissions to the Labour Party policy, so they really will make a difference.

Along with local councillors and party members in Chesterfield, I am visiting every single ward in the constituency to ask people for their views. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to get to every house in Chesterfield, but I will endeavour to get a copy through every letterbox in our town.

However, constituents don’t have to wait for it to arrive, they can complete an online version today, by visiting www.tobyperkins.org.uk/summerhealth
