A number of constituents have contacted me about the Robinson’s site. I recently met with Guy Robinson regarding plans for the site. See my update here.

I am at the Robinson’s site in Brampton. I’ve met today with Guy Robinson from the business. As people will be aware, there’s been a number of different proposals over the years for the Robinson’s site that have fallen through. There is a real determination to now bring new plans forward and I’ll be working with Guy to try and make sure if there is any support needed, either from the local authority of from the Department of Levelling Up, that this site gets the help that it needs. We need to get this site developed. It’s been an eyesore for too long. It’s a problem to the company and it’s undermining the potential of the Bampton area here in Chesterfield. So, quick update from me and we will be working closely to support Robinsons to hopefully finally get this site developed.
